What to Expect
The State of CA is now permitting CA Residents AND Non-CA residents the ability to take the CCW Course curriculum 100% online and then qualify at the range.
1- Take the online course at your pace, take the test and print your certificate.
2- Arrange with us to shoot the qualification at the range
3- Submit your application along with your certificates to your Issuing Agency.
4- Non-Residents of CA are encouraged to apply with the Calaveras County Sheriff's Department.
Those wishing to ADD ON a new firearm can also attend.
RANGE DAY-WHAT TO BRING:
* Open range session will be 0900a-12:00p Arrive anytime in this window to shoot your qual. Generally takes approximately 15-30 minutes. Last shots fired 15 minutes prior to end time.
Once registered, email will be sent with range waiver. Please sign waiver PRIOR to arrival.
Your certificate of online course completion
* Government Photo ID
* All Firearms (max of 3) you wish to qualify with.
* Each firearm must have a holster that is secured to your waistline.
* Magazines
* Ammo- Depending on your agency qualification, or 30 rounds per firearm
* Ear Protection (Electronic is best)
* Eye Protection
* Flat soled comfy shoes

- Full refunds are available with more than 21 days from your scheduled class date. n
- 50% refund within 14-21 days notice. n
- NO REFUNDS within 14 days of course date. n
- If your class is full, no class transfers will be accommodated within 14 days of your scheduled class date. n
- If you miss your scheduled class date, you will forfeit your class fee! n
- A $50 class rescheduling fee will be assessed to move you from your original class to any other scheduled class or TBA class. n
