What to Expect
Take a ride on Humboldt’s history with a scenic trip along the bay on Timber Heritage Association’s restored Arcata & Mad River Railroad crew speeder car. Originally used to transport logging crews into the woods, these historic maintenance vehicles now offer visitors a unique heritage rail experience in both Eureka and Samoa.
Per our MOU with the Great Redwood Trail Agency, rides are technically free to the public. Your donation directly benefits future track projects and restoration.
