Ocean Kayaking
Ages 6+ | Explore the spectacular coastline and marine wildlife of the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
What to Expect
Explore the stunning marine protected areas of the Palos Verdes Peninsula on a guided ocean kayak adventure. Paddle through waters frequented by bottlenose dolphins, harbor seals, rays, and vibrant Garibaldi, California's state marine fish.
Your experienced guide will provide a safe, fun, and informative tour while sharing the area's natural history and highlighting local marine life. Depending on ocean and wind conditions, you'll either:
Paddle north toward Pelican Cove for spectacular coastline views and a glimpse of the Point Vicente Lighthouse, or
Explore east toward Sacred Cove and its remarkable sea caves and rocky shoreline.
Either route offers an unforgettable experience on the water.
Wear comfortable swimwear or clothing suitable for getting wet. Waterproof phone cases are available for purchase.
