Lake Tahoe Starlight Hike
Guided night hike in the Sierras
What to Expect
Set out at dusk for a 2–3 hour guided night hike through pine and fir forest to ridgelines and meadows with wide lake and peak views. As darkness falls, your certified local guide interprets the stars, pointing out constellations, planets, and the Milky Way when visible, while allowing moments of silence to take in the night. Headlamps are used minimally for safety. The hike concludes back at the meeting point with a warm beverage and time to debrief and enjoy the afterglow of the experience.
