What to Expect

Some days need more than an activity. The Full Ranch Retreat is a complete off-site: focused meeting time, facilitated development, real ranch adventure, and the unhurried space where teams actually talk to each other.

Your day is built around one outcome you choose in advance. Morning brings Equus Coaching and a communication lab. Afternoon splits — riders head out on guided trail rotations while non-riders take on ground-based ranch challenges, roping, horsemanship, and reflection. Private meeting space is yours for strategy work. We close with a team finale and facilitated integration.

Breakfast refreshments, catered lunch, and an afternoon snack included. Riding is optional throughout. Transportation coordination available by quote.

Cancellation Policy

A signed event agreement and a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the estimated package total reserve your date. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the event, at the same time final guest count is confirmed.

Cancellations 30 or more days before the event: deposit forfeited, no further charge.
nCancellations 14–29 days before the event: 50% of the total package price is due.
nCancellations fewer than 14 days before the event: 100% of the total package price is due.

Final guest count confirmed 14 days out is the minimum billed. Guests added after that date are billed at the additional-guest rate; guests removed are not refunded.

Rescheduling: one date change at no charge if requested 30 or more days out, subject to availability. Changes inside 30 days are treated as a cancellation and rebooking.

Weather and safety: riding and mounted activities may be modified or replaced with ground-based programming at our discretion for participant or horse safety. Programs run rain or shine; substitutions of this kind are not grounds for refund. If we cancel outright, you'll receive a full refund or a credit toward a future date, your choice.

Insurance Requirement

Event liability insurance is required for all corporate bookings. Prior to your event you must provide a certificate of insurance showing general liability coverage of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate, naming San Diego Trail Company and the property owner as additional insureds. The certificate is due 14 days before the event, alongside your final guest count.
