What to Expect

Horses read intention, not job titles. They respond to what you're actually communicating — your energy, your clarity, your hesitation — which makes them extraordinary mirrors for how leaders show up.

The Equine Leadership Lab is a facilitated half-day built around that feedback. Working entirely from the ground, your team moves through Equus Coaching exercises and small-group challenges that surface real patterns: who steps forward, who waits, where communication breaks down under pressure. A skilled facilitator connects each moment back to your workplace.

We begin with a planning call to define your business goal and end with written takeaways and concrete team commitments. Catered ranch lunch included. No riding, no horse experience, no one on the sidelines.

Cancellation Policy

A signed event agreement and a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the estimated package total reserve your date. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the event, at the same time final guest count is confirmed.

Cancellations 30 or more days before the event: deposit forfeited, no further charge.
nCancellations 14–29 days before the event: 50% of the total package price is due.
nCancellations fewer than 14 days before the event: 100% of the total package price is due.

Final guest count confirmed 14 days out is the minimum billed. Guests added after that date are billed at the additional-guest rate; guests removed are not refunded.

Rescheduling: one date change at no charge if requested 30 or more days out, subject to availability. Changes inside 30 days are treated as a cancellation and rebooking.

Weather and safety: riding and mounted activities may be modified or replaced with ground-based programming at our discretion for participant or horse safety. Programs run rain or shine; substitutions of this kind are not grounds for refund. If we cancel outright, you'll receive a full refund or a credit toward a future date, your choice.

Insurance Requirement

Event liability insurance is required for all corporate bookings. Prior to your event you must provide a certificate of insurance showing general liability coverage of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate, naming San Diego Trail Company and the property owner as additional insureds. The certificate is due 14 days before the event, alongside your final guest count.
