About

This course prepares the student to sail and cruise safely in local waters as both skipper and crew on an auxiliary powered sailboat of about 30-34 feet
during daylight hours in moderate to strong wind and sea conditions. You will build on the skills learned in the Basic Sailing & Seamanship course and acquire more advanced boat handling, safety and seamanship skills. This course prepares students for the Intermediate Coastal Cruising Course. This is day 3 & 4 of the eight day course.

Format: Two Consecutive Weekends (Saturday & Sunday), 9:30am to 4pm with a 1/2 hour lunch break.

If your Course is canceled due to adverse weather or conditions, you will receive a full refund if you are not able to reschedule.

If you need to cancel your reservation for a Course, please let us know 14 days prior, and you will receive a full refund if you are not able to reschedule. Cancelations less than 14 days prior to your course will result in a 50% charge of the full cost of your class. Cancelations occurring less than 7 days before your scheduled course will not be eligible for a refund, and you will be charged for the full class price.

Rebooking Policy: Requests to reschedule within two weeks of the course start date will incur a $50 rebooking fee.
