Step Inside a Real-Life Neverland Adventure

Step inside the hidden world of Once Upon An Island and discover one of Southern California’s most magical children’s experiences.

Tucked away on beautiful Balboa Island, our immersive fantasy venue transports children into a real-life Neverland adventure filled with mermaids, pirates, sparkling lagoons, hidden treasures, underwater magic, and unforgettable memories.

Whether your child dreams of becoming a shimmering mermaid or a brave Neverland pirate, every experience is designed to feel personal, interactive, and truly enchanting from the moment they arrive.

Children will explore our whimsical indoor mermaid lagoon, magical grotto, pirate hideaways, enchanted salon, and interactive play spaces while being guided by our professional character hosts. From magical transformations and imaginative play to storybook-worthy photo moments, every detail is designed to create a memory your child will talk about long after they leave.

Parents love that the experience feels immersive, intimate, and genuinely magical without the crowds or chaos of a large theme park. Our venue was thoughtfully designed to feel like stepping inside a fantasy storybook, with countless hidden details and photo-worthy moments around every corner.

Perfect for birthdays, special surprises, vacation memories, sibling experiences, or simply making an ordinary day feel extraordinary.

Come discover why families from all over the country visit Once Upon An Island to experience the magic for themselves.
