All boat renters must be 21 years or older with valid ID. Renter must present ID and matching credit card used to book at check in. There is no minimum age for passengers with an adult renter.

Premium Holiday Rates: A $50/hour premium applies on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day, as well as during the Christmas Boat Parade, Mother's Day weekend, 4th of July, and 4th of July weekend, to ensure elevated service and support for our dedicated crew during the most sought after times.

The 21' Duffy Electric Boat offers a seamless blend of eco-friendly technology and comfort, accommodating up to 12 passengers. Featuring a state-of-the-art 100% electric propulsion system, it provides a quiet, emission-free experience, perfect for leisurely exploring Balboa Peninsula or enjoying a tranquil "picnic" on the water. With nearly silent operation, our boats deliver an unparalleled serene travel experience.

Equipped for entertainment and safety, each boat boasts a four-speaker stereo system with Bluetooth connectivity, ensuring your favorite tunes accompany your journey. Safety is paramount, with each vessel outfitted with 12 life preservers, navigation lights, interior lights, a horn, and a fire extinguisher. Choose from 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6-hour rentals to tailor your adventure.

Navigating at a leisurely maximum speed of 5 MPH, these boats promise easy maneuverability throughout the harbor, ideal for both novices and seasoned skippers. Our fleet sets the standard in aesthetics and branding, becoming a true highlight in any commercial marina. Attention to detail is evident in the hand-stitched, premium upholstery adorning each electric boat, ensuring a luxurious voyage. Embrace the future of boating with our 100% electric, emission-free fleet, where sustainability meets style.

Most of our standard Duffy boats include full window enclosures at no extra cost, keeping the entire vessel covered aside from the entry steps. Please be sure to request windows if you prefer. Windows are on a first come first serve basis upon requests. Less than 10% of our fleet and our signature Pink Duffy is an open air, making night time cruises easier on your captain, offering clear views of sunsets, the harbor, the Christmas parade and holiday lights without any window glare.

No matter which Duffy you reserve, we recommend bringing blankets and dressing warm for a comfortable cruise.

If you prefer to hire a qualified independent captain, we are happy to introduce you to captains familiar with our vessels. Simply select this option during checkout. Independent captains are hired and paid directly by you on the day of your rental.
Only valid for groups of 11 or less.
Have 12 or more? Check out our Avalon Pontoon and Double Decker Pontoon boats. If you have 13 or more, we also offer tie ups for up to 36!
