Offshore Whales Expedition

Go farther than a standard whale watch on this guided offshore expedition. Over four to five hours you’ll range 10 to 40 miles into the Southern California Bight and the outer banks where the most exotic whales and marine mammals appear. Trips are run by a USCG captain and marine biologist using filmmaking- and research-grade techniques to read the water and search, not chase. Expect genuine open-ocean conditions, quieter, closer encounters, and the possibility of humpbacks, fin whales, blue whales, dolphins, and occasional orcas.
