What to Expect

Take a guided snowshoe tour on Mount Shasta and breathe crisp winter air while enjoying peaceful alpine solitude. The experience begins with gear fitting and a brief introduction, then you’ll hike at a relaxed pace, gaining 200–500 feet of elevation depending on the group. Your guide shares stories of the area, winter ecology, and basic avalanche awareness as you traverse open snow-covered meadows and descend to enjoy south-side views of Mount Shasta before returning to the vehicles on a loop trail.
