Get your scuba diving certification with our Open Water Diver course in just three days! The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world's most popular and widely recognized scuba course. Millions of people have learned to scuba dive and gone on to discover the wonders of the aquatic world through this course.

Equipment

In the Open Water Diver course, you learn to use basic scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device (BCD) and an air cylinder. Worried about the cold? We've got you covered with thick 7mm wetsuits, hooded vests, boots and gloves to keep you comfortable during your course.

Scheduling

Get Certified in Just 3 Days!
Earn your Open Water Scuba Certification in just three days and you'll be ready to dive with confidence.

Then, on your 4th day, put your new skills to use by joining the Dive Tribe the following Sunday!
Climb aboard our private dive boat, The California Explorer, for an unforgettable day exploring the world-famous waters of Monterey Bay.

Classroom/Pool Session (Day1)

  • You have a choice between doing your classroom and pool session on the first Sunday of the month or on the following Friday.

Ocean Sessions (Day 2 & 3)

  • Your 4 ocean dives will take place over the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) Following the first Sunday of the month.

Day 4 Put your new skills to use by joining the Dive Tribe the following Sunday!

Please note, the training day is a combined classroom and pool session lasting up to 10 hours.

The Standard course is a good option for diver's who are not ready to own their own scuba/snorkeling equipment. If you are planning to continue diving after you are certified, we recommend the Open Water Deluxe course which includes some of your personal gear.

Restrictions

Please review the Diver Medical Questionnaire prior to your course as some students may be required to have a physician's approval before diving activities.
