Lake Camanche offers kayak rentals. Kayaks are perfect for those wanting a fun lake experience – both for the experienced kayaker and first timers.
Tips for beginners

Your weight while sitting on your kayak should be reasonably centered front-back and side to side. Make sure your head is looking where you want to go.

Practicing turning is good for learning to paddle in a straight line. Long wide “sweep” strokes work well. If you want to maintain forward momentum then use forward strokes but if you’re stopped you can use alternating forward and backward strokes on each side.

Forward strokes should all be “from your feet to your seat”. Backward strokes from the stern to your seat.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policy for all kayaks are as follows:
nYou must contact us no less than 24 hours prior to non-holiday rentals. Cancellations for holidays, or holiday weekend rentals must be received no less than 5 days prior to rental appointment.
nNo-Shows or late cancellations will result in forfeiture of entire rental price.
nCancellations will result in forfeiture of reservation fee (10% of rental rate).
