What to Expect
The Short West Loop winds through the hills and ridges with great views of Joshua Trees and wildlife. We come down into a beautiful sandy wash to ride up to Burnt Hill that leads into the Burnt Hill Trail. From there we slowly descend back to Black Rock Canyon Campground and back to the ranch.

What is your age limit?
Our age limit for trail rides is 12 years old. However, riders ages 7-12 can join after completing our Junior Horsemanship Experience at the ranch, which helps us teach and assess their riding abilities before heading out on the trail. Give us a call at 760-821-7525 to learn more.
