What to Expect

Take part in an intentional lantern-making workshop, crafting your own tribute to carry in our Procession to the Old Bathhouse.
To participate in our Procession, please meet at the Front Entrance of the Hotel at 7:30PM. Please bring your lantern.
Optional: Costumes and festive attire inspired by the rich colors, traditions, and spirit of the celebration are kindly encouraged. Adorn yourself in marigolds, florals, calaveras, traditional dress, or a look of your own.

That evening at 8PM, experience a captivating live performance by Alma Sangre — a powerful Latino roots duo of singer/guitarist Antonio Aguilar and multi-instrumentalist/dancer Meg Castellanos, blending poetic Spanish guitar with fiery flamenco rhythms and dance at the Old Bathhouse.

Housed within the historic ruins of our 1920s Bathhouse, our thoughtfully decorated community Ofrenda stands as a visual prayer to loved ones who have passed on.
We invite visitors to contribute mementos, photos, and offerings in remembrance of deceased loved ones, ancestors, children, and beloved pets. This shared altar is a space for reflection, celebration, and connection across generations.
The Bar + Restaurant at Jacumba Hot Springs Hotel will be open. Make a dinner reservation before the procession and show.
