Pattern Bars & Stringer Sheets - Day 2: Cutting and Project Design

Now the real transformation begins!

Using the pattern bar and stringer sheet you created during Day 1, you’ll learn how to cut, arrange and combine your fired glass elements into two finished works of art.

You’ll slice and arrange your pattern bar to create a colorful 6" x 6" plate or tray. You’ll also cut and compose your stringer sheet into an 8" x 8" dish or plate.

This workshop focuses on thoughtful design, accurate cutting, composition and making the most of the beautiful patterns hidden inside your fired glass.

Your completed projects will be kiln-fired again to fuse the pieces together and shape them into their final forms. Finished artwork will be available for pickup after firing.

Prerequisite and Registration Information

Completion of Pattern Bars & Stringer Sheets — Day 1 is required before attending Day 2.
