What to Expect

Explore the history and architecture of Scotty’s Castle on an intimate, private tour while the site is closed for repairs. Led by a friendly, knowledgeable guide, this experience reveals the colorful characters and unlikely friendships behind the buildings and includes updates about the restoration process. Guests enjoy two hours to explore at their own pace, with morning and afternoon time slots available. Proceeds fund DVNHA’s operations and partner support.

Restrictions

  • Participants will not enter closed areas without DVNHA staff present.
  • No pets allowed (service dogs permitted when properly trained and controlled).
  • No age restrictions, but program is outside, with little shade or places to sit.
  • Not suitable for those with difficulty standing or walking; tour is not ADA accessible.
