What to Expect

Learn how to use your camera to capture the beauty of the universe. Designed specifically for beginners.

Classroom session includes
* Camera settings for night photography
* Focusing techniques in low light
* How to focus in the dark to get pinpoint stars
* Composition and planning
* Understanding moon phases and seasonal night-sky conditions
* and more . . .

Participants will have opportunities to ask questions and prepare their camera equipment for the field session.

The nighttime field session is an opportunity to try new skills with guidance from instructor. Small group size allows for more one-on-one time.

Participants need to bring an interchangeable-lens camera: either a DSLR or mirrorless camera.
