Cancellation Policy
CHARTER PAYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
nA non-refundable deposit equivalent to 50% of the charter rate is required at the time of confirming your charter. Payment in full is due 48 business hours prior to the charter. Reservations made 7 or less days from departure date must be paid in full at time of booking.
nCANCELLATION POLICY
nIf you cancel your charter, you must notify Dana Wharf, IN WRITING. Cancel 60 or more days prior to your charter’s scheduled date and you will receive a full refund of the 50% deposit. Cancellations received less than 60 days prior to the departure date are subject to forfeiture of total deposit.
** RESCHEDULING**
nAny request to change the date or time of a confirmed charter may be subject to a rescheduling fee, depending on availability and the timing of the request. Rescheduling is not guaranteed.
TO MAKE A PAYMENT
nYou may pay online via our Quickbooks invoicing system or call a Dana Wharf charter representative to request a credit card authorization form. It will need to be completed and returned for processing. You may also come into the office to pay.
ACCEPTED METHODS OF PAYMENT
nCash, Money Order, Cashier’s Check, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.
nCHECKS
nChecks are only accepted for the 50% deposit and must be received by Dana Wharf two or more weeks prior to the charter.
nCHECKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AS FINAL PAYMENT OR FOR LAST MINUTE CHARTER BOOKINGS.

nWEATHER POLICY
nDANA WHARF vessels go out rain or shine. The only time they do not go, is in the event of high winds and heavy seas. The safety and security of our guests is our utmost concern. The captain of each specific charter boat will make that call on the day of the trip. If Dana Wharf cancels the trip, based on the captain’s call, due to weather, we will try to re-schedule the trip. If this is not possible, we will issue a full refund. If the client cancels the trip, no refund will be issued.

nRECOMMENDATIONS ON WHAT TO WEAR/BRING
nPlease have your guests come prepared with the following:
n* Wear non-slip shoes (athletic, deck or tennis shoes)
n* Dress in layers as it is usually 10 to 15 degrees cooler on the water
n* Apply sun screen, wear a hat and sunglasses
n* Bring a camera and/or binoculars

nExact Meeting Instructions
nDana Wharf is located at 34675 Golden Lantern Street (off Dana Point Harbor Dr.) in Dana Point, CA 92629. Take Golden Lantern Street all the way to the end (where it dead ends) to reach the Dana Wharf parking lot. Look for signs for Sportfishing/Catalina Express. Our office is located next to Jon’s Fish Market AND Waterman’s Harbor Restaurant. A charter representative must check in at the office at least 30-45 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
