This tour blends a scenic boat cruise with a guided clear kayak tour, taking you on an all in one journey through Emerald Bay. Departing from South Lake Tahoe, this unique 3-hour adventure takes guests on a cruise across crystal-clear waters to reach one of Lake Tahoe's most sought after paddle destinations. Upon arrival to Emerald Bay, the clear kayaks are launched directly from the boat for a guided tour of the bay's dazzling waters and rich history. Enjoy endless views of granite cliffs and towering peaks above and glittering blue green hues below!

The Clearly Explorer gives guests the opportunity to enjoy Tahoe's longest point to point clear kayak paddle, with the knowledge and expertise of trained guides on the water and close by comfort of the larger vessel. Aboard, guests can enjoy complimentary amenities, a restroom, complimentary snacks, everything needed for a relaxing and immersive day on the water.

Seating Options:
Boats can be seated for 1-2 guests (age and weight limitations apply). Single Boats will accommodate 1 guest. Double Boats will accommodate two guests. Rate is per person and determined by age and seating arrangement.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Combined weight is 375lbs per boat. Children under the age of 12 must ride in a vessel with an adult 18 years of age or older.

Adult (ages 18+):

– Single Rate: $219.00/ per person
– Double Rate: $169.00/ per person

Teen (ages 16-17):

– Single Rate: $209.00/ per person
– Double Rate: $159.00/ per person

Youth (ages 12-15):

– Single Rate: $199.00/ per person
– Double Rate: $149.00/ per person

Child (child age 4-11):
– Double Rate: $139.00/ per person

Please Note: There is no rate change for passengers on the Clearly Explorer who wish to forego the kayaking portion of this experience.

- Single Boats are designed for (1) participant in one single boat.
- Double boats are designed for (2) participants in one single boat.

Limitations:
Company policies, age and weight restrictions apply: Guests must be 4 years of age or older to participate in activity. Children under the age of 12 must ride in a boat with an adult 18 years of age or older. The total combined weight limit for boats must not exceed 375lbs. Pets are not permitted on this tour.

Recommendations:

What to Wear:
Guests should wear comfortable light layers as well as shoes that can be removed easily. We highly recommend hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Light jackets are suggested for when the vessel is underway. Swimsuits are optional but not required.

Please note: While our guests tend to stay relatively dry during this experience, all participants and belongings are subject to getting wet. Clearly Tahoe is not responsible for any lost or damaged items. Electronics and valuables should be left in a safe place.

Guests MUST arrive to our Clearly Tahoe Keys Marina Shop 30 minutes prior to scheduled activity for check-in. All participants must complete electronic liability waivers prior to departure. Guests who miss their scheduled check in might miss their tour. Missed tours are non-refundable.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a mandatory check-in for this tour. All guests must arrive to our Clearly Tahoe Keys Marina Shop in South Lake Tahoe, CA for check-in no less than 30 minutes prior to departure. Please see confirmation email for more information.

Location:
Our Clearly Tahoe Keys Marina Shop is located within the Tahoe Keys Marina in South Lake Tahoe, CA. Our shop can be found by entering the marina and driving past Mariners Express towards the boat ramp. Our shop is located around the corner from Captain’s Corner and can be identified by the "Clearly Tahoe" sign above the door.

Parking:
Parking within the Tahoe Keys Marina area can be difficult between 10am and 4pm during the summer season. We highly recommend ride-shares and public transportation options when possible. Lake Link is highly recommended. Guests who attempt to drive to the Tahoe Keys Marina should allow extra time to find parking and be prepared to walk a longer distance if necessary.
