This is our most exciting and rewarding tour!!! The Shell Beach Coastal Adventure Tour is enjoyed by novice and seasoned kayakers alike. There are a series of arches, caves, and rock gardens that are only accessible from the water and your kayak is the best vehicle for exploring. This tour is exhilarating and filled with wildlife and mother natures open ocean, seeing local sights & ocean wildlife. Your guide will instruct and assist you with a surf zone launch. Once passed the breakers you will venture along spectacular coastal vistas, grottoes, arches from a safe distance, kelp forests, and protected coves to enjoy. This tour can be taken by the novice or experienced paddler.

This is a tour that shows Shell Beach without caves as sometimes the waves are too dangerous to take you through them. Our guides teach you the basic strokes and go over a safety talk before we start. Central Coast Kayaks has offered this tour longer than any other. Be careful you might get hooked!

All people must have the ability to swim

Minimum age is 12 years old for a tour and minimum age is 12 years old for a rental must be accompanied by an adult in a tandem kayak.
