What to Expect
Choose your mermaid adventure—and leave more courageous than you arrived! If you dream of learning to flip, twist, turn, and swim confidently in a mermaid tail, choose Become a PADI Certified Mermaid. Already certified? Choose PADI Advanced Mermaid to strengthen your safety and rescue skills, refine your technique, and explore deeper water with confidence. Planning to become a professional mermaid instructor? Choose Emergency First Response to complete this essential prerequisite.
After completing all three certifications, you’ll be ready to apply for our PADI Mermaid Instructor Course. With no more than four students per instructor, you’ll receive personalized, encouraging instruction in a welcoming environment where magic is always grounded in safety.

PADI eLearning delivered within seven days before class
4–6 hours of hands-on training
Personalized instruction in a small group of four or fewer students per instructor
A welcoming, encouraging environment focused on safety, confidence, and skill-building
Restrictions
All participants must complete PADI’s required medical questionnaire before class. A “YES” answer does not necessarily prevent you from participating. Contact us, and we’ll send you the appropriate medical form for your doctor to review and sign. Medical clearance must be completed before class when required—this is a mandatory PADI safety standard.
Participants in PADI Mermaid and Advanced Mermaid courses must also be able to complete the required watermanship skills listed during checkout. These are mandatory for certification, and refunds cannot be issued if a participant cannot meet the minimum requirements.
