• You will get the most out of your lesson while sharing the waves and surf experience with friends and/or family. The Semi-Private lesson format will give you more 1 on 1 opportunity with an instructor as well as more instant feedback than a group lesson.

• Our Semi-Private Surf Lessons are the perfect balance between maximizing your opportunities to catch more waves while getting to share these rides with the ones that matter most to you. Booking the semi-private lesson closes the availability to anyone else who may want to book at that time. Please call if you need to add or remove people in the semi-private lesson.

• All surf lessons begin with a detailed land lesson emphasizing the importance of knowing the local surf break and nearby surroundings.

• Before entering the water you will be instructed on surf related topics that include: board mechanics, pop up techniques, etiquette, and unique surf situations. Once ready on land, our trained and certified instructors will put your newly acquired skills to the test in the water on the friendly waves that Capitola Beach provides.
