Efoil Experience - 6 Hour Private Boat Charter With Captain

Experience Lake Tahoe from two incredible perspectives in one outing — aboard your own private boat charter and on an efoil. With Boat Tahoe, you and your group can enjoy a private captained charter, cruise to beautiful locations around the lake, and then anchor in a calm area where guests can take turns trying the efoil.

This is a great option for guests looking for efoiling on Lake Tahoe or a more unique alternative to a standard lake day. While we do not offer the efoil as a standalone rental, this charter gives you the chance to enjoy both sightseeing and efoiling in one unforgettable experience.

About

Your private charter can accommodate up to 13 people (plus captain), depending on the boat. All charters are led by a USCG certified captain, ensuring your safety and enjoyment. Fuel costs are included in the package, but please remember gratuity for our captains is not included and highly appreciated.

This experience includes use of our Waydoo Flyer EVO Max Plus efoil, along with an extra battery for extended ride time during the charter. Guests can take turns using the efoil once the boat is anchored in a calm and suitable area.

Please note that while we are happy to provide general guidance, this is not a formal in-water lesson and we do not provide hands-on in-water instruction or assistance.

Parties Over 6 People - Additional Fees

For parties over 6 passengers USCG Regulations require each charter to be a Bareboat Charter. Bareboat Charters require the captain to be paid separately IN ADDITION to the charter fee. For full details of Bareboat Charters please visit here.

Parties of 6 or less are NOT considered a Bareboat Charter and all captain fees are included in the charter cost.

Each guest, no matter the age, count as passenger.

Where We Go

We'll take you to some of the best spots on Lake Tahoe including Emerald Bay, Vikingsholm Castle, Fannette Island, DL Bliss State Park among others. While we have our favorite spots, your itinerary can be customized if time and weather permit.

What to Bring

Pack essentials like sunscreen, sunglasses, a camera, and a jacket or sweatshirt as it can get chilly on the lake. If you're up for a dip, bring a towel and swimsuit. Feel free to plug in your phone and play your favorite tunes, or let our captain DJ for you. Water is provided, and you're welcome to bring your own food and drinks. A cooler or refrigerator is provided for convenience.

What Not to Bring

To ensure everyone's safety and comfort, we kindly ask that guests refrain from bringing glass, red wine or overly messy foods. Please note that pets are not allowed on the charters.

When to Arrive

We recommend guests arrive at the marina at least 30 minutes before the charter (longer on weekends and holidays) and at the boat 15 minutes prior. Late arrival WILL shorten your time on the lake.

Beginner Note

The efoil setup is beginner-friendly, but this experience is best for guests who are comfortable in and around the water and understand that instruction is limited to general guidance.

Age Requirements

Efoil use is limited to guests ages 18 and older; minors are welcome aboard the charter but may not participate in the efoil activity.
