What to Expect

The Ultimate Falconry Experience is an extended, instructor-led program that brings you up close with a diverse collection of raptors. Over the session you’ll work directly with five birds, including owl, hawk and falcon glove work, plus interactions with rarer species such as a crested caracara or yellow-headed vulture and an African white-necked raven when available. Trainers explain behavior and care while demonstrating advanced handling and flying techniques in an outdoor setting.

Includes

Interactions with five birds
Owl, hawk, and falcon glove work
Additional rare species may be included (crested caracara or yellow-headed vulture)
African white-necked raven interaction
Educational instruction from professional trainers

Restrictions

Due to the nature of our Experiences, there are minimum age restrictions for the safety of both humans and birds and comfort of other visitors.

All experiences with free flying owls and birds of prey to-and-from guests' gloves require children to be 9 years of age or older. Younger children are not recommended on Experiences without customization, as they can disrupt the free flying birds and their training.

Customized Experiences are available for guests wanting something different or to accommodate young children and special events. Please contact us for details.
