Picnic with the Parrots
All Ages • 90 Minutes • Parrots & Farm Friends!
What to Expect
Picnic with the Parrots is a relaxed outdoor experience set at the Avian Behavior Conservancy where guests spend time with free-flying parrots and enjoy interactions with friendly farm animals. The program combines hands-on feeding and gentle encounters with donkeys, goats, pigs, and chickens alongside an educational discussion about San Diego County biodiversity. The visit culminates in a graceful flight demonstration by Teacup, an African crowned crane, followed by an up-close interaction in a scenic Southern California setting.
