What to Expect

Designed for bird lovers, the Exotic Meet & Greet is a hands-on program that lets you hold a Toco Toucan, play interactive enrichment games with an African white-necked raven, and watch free-flying macaws against a Southern California backdrop. Throughout the experience staff provide educational discussion about conservation and the unique adaptations that make these species remarkable. The program balances close encounters with animal welfare considerations to ensure a safe, memorable visit for guests.

Restrictions

Due to the nature of our Experiences, there are minimum age restrictions for the safety of both humans and birds and comfort of other visitors.

All experiences with free flying owls and birds of prey to-and-from guests' gloves require children to be 9 years of age or older. Younger children are not recommended on Experiences without customization, as they can disrupt the free flying birds and their training.

Customized Experiences are available for guests wanting something different or to accommodate young children and special events. Please contact us for details.
