Art of Flight Experience
All Ages • 90 Minutes • Three Species in Flight!
What to Expect
The Art of Flight Experience offers a unique opportunity to observe and interact with three very different bird species while exploring the adaptations that make each one a master of the sky.
Guests will begin with an up-close look at Teacup, our African crowned crane, and watch her fly graceful loops across the Southern California landscape. You’ll then experience catching and holding one of our owls on the glove while learning how their silent flight and wing structure make them such effective hunters.
The experience concludes with a fast-paced lure flight from Halley, our Saker falcon, showcasing the speed and precision that define a true aerial predator. Guests will have the opportunity to hold Halley on the glove for a closer look at her remarkable features.
This experience is perfect for bird lovers who want to compare flight styles and discover what makes each species extraordinary.

Restrictions
Due to the nature of our Experiences, there are minimum age restrictions for the safety of both humans and birds and comfort of other visitors.
All experiences with owls and birds of prey require children to be 9 years of age or older. Younger children are not recommended on Experiences without customization, as they can disrupt the free flying birds and their training.
Customized Experiences are available for guests wanting something different or to accommodate young children, and special events. Please contact us for details.
