Experience the magic of Sequoia National Park during the quieter winter season! Walk among towering giant sequoias, take in beautiful Sierra Nevada views, and, when conditions allow, experience the Giant Forest surrounded by snow.
This full-day guided tour is designed with beginner-friendly walks and plenty of time to enjoy Sequoia’s incredible scenery. Explore the Big Trees Trail for an easy walk among ancient sequoias, stop at Beetle Rock for sweeping views, and visit the magnificent General Sherman Tree, the largest living tree on Earth by volume.
Depending on seasonal access, weather, and road conditions, your day may also include stops at Hospital Rock, Potwisha, the Giant Forest Museum area, or additional walks through the Giant Forest. Guests looking for a longer walk may have the option to explore portions of the Congress Trail.
Winter in Sequoia offers a completely different experience from the busy summer months, with crisp mountain air, beautiful scenery, and the possibility of seeing the giant sequoias covered in snow.
