About
Turn a flat slab of clay into a tiny hanging garden. In this hands-on workshop, students will create a ceramic wall pocket, a traditional form designed to hang on the wall and cradle small plants or dried florals.
We will cover basic slab-building techniques, shaping a half-bowl form, adding a hanging hole, and simple surface decoration using texture and carving. No prior pottery experience is needed. This is a relaxed, approachable class that’s perfect for beginners and curious makers alike.
Finished pieces will be fired after the workshop and ready for pickup at a later date. Great as a functional art piece for your home or a thoughtful handmade gift.
