Art Workshop: Indigo Dying (Shibori)
What to Expect
Shibori is the Japanese art of binding and folding fabric in different patterns before dyeing. Using natural indigo powder, you will learn how to use different binding techniques to create unique patterns on a cotton tea towel, set of napkins or your own natural fiber cloth.
In this workshop, you will learn how the calming and enjoyable experience of naturally dyeing your fabrics. Together, we will learn best practices and recommendations to make a true blue creation of your very own.

One of the following materials for dying:
- Set of 4 cotton napkins
- 2 dishtowel
- 1 tote bag
You are free to bring 1 natural fiber item for dying during class.
