What to Expect
Spring Adventure is an engaging, seasonally themed program that invites children to explore the science of spring through animals, observation, and hands-on learning. Participants will meet live animal ambassadors—including a mammal, bird, amphibian, and invertebrate—take part in an age-appropriate STEM activity focused on butterfly conservation, and learn about life cycles, baby animals, and the changes plants and animals experience as winter turns to spring. The program encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and compassion for animals while reinforcing foundational science concepts in a fun, accessible way.
-
Schools: Spring Adventure incorporates STEM concepts and aligns with Next Generation Science Standards for grades K–6. The program can be hosted on-site at our campus or brought directly to your classroom to reduce transportation costs and simplify scheduling. Schools are encouraged to call or email our Education Office to book; this allows us to reserve your program without upfront payment and invoice after the program concludes.
-
Girl Scouts: this program can be customized to meet some of the “Between Earth and Sky” journey requirements for Daisies.
