What to Expect
Autumn Adventure is an engaging, seasonally themed program that invites children to explore the science of adaptations and survival through animals, observation, and hands-on learning. Participants will meet live animal ambassadors—including mammals, a reptile, and an invertebrate—take part in an age-appropriate STEM activity focused on animal adaptations and pick a mini-pumpkin to keep, all while learning what makes our “creepy” critters not so scary. The program encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and compassion for animals while reinforcing foundational science concepts in a fun, accessible way.
- Schools: Autumn Adventure incorporates STEM concepts and aligns with Next Generation Science Standards for grades K–6. The program can be hosted on-site at our campus or brought directly to your classroom to reduce transportation costs and simplify scheduling. Schools are encouraged to call or email our Education Office to book; this allows us to reserve your program without upfront payment and we will invoice after the program concludes.
