Intro to the Modern Rifle

The class begins with a brief overview of the modern semi-automatic rifle, including how it loads, fires, and unloads. Each student will then practice various shooting positions, including standing, sitting, kneeling, and prone. The session will conclude with live fire, beginning with zeroing the rifle at a specific distance.

After that there will be drills including snap shots at 25 and 50 yards. The conclusion of the class will have a short competition to see who can score the highest using the skills taught in this class.
