Trailblazing Thomas
Ages 3+ • 3.5 Hours
What to Expect
Trailblazing Thomas raises the stakes — a 3 to 3.5-hour You-Drive tour with increased technicality and deep immersion into the alpine culture of the San Jacinto Mountains. It is built for drivers ready to trade the gentle introduction for genuine high-country drama.
You drive one of our purpose-built Jeeps while our guide leads the way, handling navigation and trail support through the rugged corridor of Bautista Canyon and up onto the Rouse Hill ridgeline. The reward is a 6,825-foot summit and a bird’s-eye view of Garner Valley and Lake Hemet.
Bautista Canyon (6S16) to Thomas Mountain Peak (5S15) — the ultimate “Sky-to-Valley” loop. We begin with a technical ascent through the rugged corridor of Bautista Canyon before transitioning onto the Rouse Hill ridgeline.
The journey culminates at the 6,825-foot summit of Thomas Mountain, offering a bird’s-eye view of Garner Valley and Lake Hemet. The route finishes by traversing through a forest of Jeffrey, Coulter and Ponderosa pines.
