The Chiricahua Hoodoos

This tour initially heads to the Chiricahua National Monument and a moderate 7.5-mile hike along the Echo Canyon / Heart of Rocks loop, which includes the Ed Riggs, Mushroom Rock, Big Balanced Rock, Heart of Rocks, Sarah Deming, Upper Rhyolite Canyon and Echo Canyon trails.
In this hike, tour participants will see some of the most spectacular rock formations one can imagine. This hike can be done in 3 hours, but we prefer to give it a little more time due to the unforgettable views.
Along the way to the trailhead, the tour bus will stop frequently for photo ops. On the way back to Bisbee, we will head to Turkey Creek where you will learn the true story of cattle rustler, outlaw and gunslinger Johnny Ringo and see the very spot when he met his unfortunate and untimely end as well as his final resting place.
