What to Expect

Book an un-guided 4.5-hour trip (13 miles) on the Lower Salt River. Good swimming abilities are required and PFDs should be worn at all times. If you finish early, you can paddle around or hang out on the river bank until the scheduled return shuttle arrives. There are no early pickups.

To keep the serenity of the river, please refrain from playing music out loud until you reach the first public recreation site; about 30 minutes into your trip.
