Canyoneering is the craft of descending an otherwise impassable canyon by means of rappelling, climbing, and teamwork. Arizona’s canyons display an incredible array of diversity and each has its own unique challenges. There’s something compelling about descending into a canyon with the understanding that usually the only way out is down. One of the beauties of canyoneering is that it’s an activity that is open to anyone with a decent level of fitness and the willingness to learn the skills inherent. In addition we offer skill courses that will teach you the techniques of rappelling, anchor building, and everything else needed to safely descend these amazing passages.
