What to Expect
Experience the Grand Canyon in a seamless, premium way with the AirXperience Grand Canyon Airplane Tour, an unforgettable air-and-ground journey departing from Cottonwood Airport.
Your tour begins with a 6:30 AM check-in before departing Cottonwood at approximately 7:00 AM. During your scenic flight to the Grand Canyon Airport, you’ll take in sweeping views of Northern Arizona, including the red rocks of Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon, the Mogollon Rim, Humphrey’s Peak, and the San Francisco Peaks, the highest mountains in Arizona.
After landing at the Grand Canyon Airport, you’ll be escorted to your private van, where the next leg of your adventure begins. From there, your ground tour will take you along the canyon’s rim to experience some of the Grand Canyon’s most iconic landmarks and viewpoints.
Your journey may include stops such as Lipan Point, Pipe Creek Vista, Grand Canyon Village, Duck on a Rock, Moran Point, and the Desert View Watchtower. Each location offers its own breathtaking perspective of the canyon, with unforgettable views and incredible photo opportunities throughout the day.
Snacks and cold drinks will be provided during the ground tour. After your time at the canyon, you’ll return to the Grand Canyon Airport for your scenic flight back to Cottonwood, departing around 1:00 PM and arriving back at approximately 1:45 PM.
