What to Expect
Doe Mountain Trail
This moderate hike begins at valley floor and follows switchbacks to reveal Sedona’s most stunning panoramic views. The flexible 2-3 hour hike allows plenty of opportunity to explore the flat topped mesa while learning about plants, animals, history and the unique red rock landscape of Sedona and the Verde Valley. Doe Mountain provides you an opportunity to experience an upflow vortex.
Distance: 1.5 - 2 miles of switchbacks, uneven terrain and a small amount of rock scrambling.

Fay Canyon (Available September 1-February 28)
Journey deep into an ancient canyon lined with towering red rock cliffs and hidden Sinagua cliff dwellings. Your guide will point out different plants, geological formations, and discuss the history of this canyon, which has remained virtually unchanged over the past 1400 years. Fay Canyon provides you an opportunity to experience an inflow vortex.
The relatively flat trail offers tranquility and places to stop, rest and enhance your connection to nature.
