Get ready to hit the trail on this one of a kind Iditarod snowmobile tour!

Ride straight into the excitement of race day on our Iditarod Snowmobile Adventure. Join us for the official start of the race in Willow, Alaska, where we will travel the historic Iditarod Trail by snowmobile.

During our Snowhook Adventure Guides’ Iditarod Trailgate Party we’ll give you an insider’s perspective as teams pass by and head out into the wilds of Alaska. While we are watching and cheering as the teams mush on by, enjoy lunch, warm up by the fire, and after the race comes through, we’ll head back to Willow. This is an afternoon of adventure with views of the race, Denali, and an unforgettable day alongside Alaska’s most iconic event.

This tour starts at 1:00 pm and will begin in Willow and then travel 35-40 miles roundtrip to the Restart, our Trailgate Party and back to our base. Price is per guest.

Cancellation Policy:

Note: Cancellation requests 14 days prior to the start of your tour will receive a full refund less any booking fees or taxes.
Cancellation requests 7-13 days prior to the start of your tour will receive 50% refund less any booking fees or taxes.
Cancellation requests less than 7 days prior to the start of your tour or failure to show up for your tour will result in no refund.
Bookings made within the 7-day window prior to the start of a tour are not eligible for refunds or rebooking.
Rescheduling is not an option for this tour due to its unique date.
Please note that canceled flights, illness, etc. are not exceptions to our cancellation policy.

If the tour is canceled by Snowhook due to weather or any other force majeure, the reserving party will receive a full refund.

We do not guarantee that you will see the lights but we make every effort to put you in a location to see them. Tours which occur within the 14 days of the date of departure are not eligible for a refund due to a poor aurora borealis forecast.

We schedule our guides based upon our bookings 7-14 days in advance, which means late cancellations impact our company, individual guides and their families. We strongly advise purchasing travel insurance from another vendor for your upcoming visit if you decide not to use our Worry-Free Travel Cancellation Protection.
