What to Expect

There aren’t many places on the planet where you can observe brown bears up close in their natural habitat. Alaska is one of them, and a fly-out bear viewing trip from River Rock Lodge is the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity you’ve been waiting for!

Please note, we will run a tour for just one person, however it costs the same as a 2-person tour.

Please note that we try to honor the time you have chosen but when making final flight calculations and schedule consolidations the day before, your time of departure could be changed. Because of this we suggest that you keep the day that you have booked your tour flexible. Thank you

You will be required to sign a waiver before leaving on the flight. It should be emailed to you and you can sign it electronically. If unable to sign it online please let us know so we can have you sign it in the office.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 10 days before your trip you will receive a full refund minus a $30 booking fee per person. If cancelled less than 10 days before your trip date there will be no refund.

We do not refund or reimburse hotel nights, airline tickets, car rentals, or any other travel costs due to weather. Alaska weather is beyond our control. We strongly recommend travel insurance.

This is wild Alaska. There are no refunds for lack of bear sightings, (outside of our bear guarantee), lack of fish catch, or being miserable for not dressing appropriately, or any other trip disatisfaction.
