Kenai Peninsula Ice Fishing - Private Shelter Half Day

From $5954 hoursUp to 4 guests (one private shelter)Ages 5+

Kenai, AK

What to Expect

Book a heated shelter and a Kenai Sportfishing guide just for your group of up to 4: family, friends or a small team outing. The price is for the shelter, not per person.

Spend four hours on the ice with a Kenai Sportfishing guide on one of the stocked lakes near Soldotna, Kenai and Nikiski. Your guide picks the lake for the day by ice conditions and the bite. Then the guide drills the holes, sets up a heated, insulated shelter and shows everyone how to jig for rainbow trout and the other fish stocked in that lake.

It's an easy, family-friendly trip: no experience needed, ages 5 and up, and you sit in the warm between bites.

Not included: your Alaska sport fishing license. Licenses expire December 31, so a January trip needs the new year's license.

Midwinter trips run in the middle of the day, about 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM, to make the most of the daylight.

We only fish ice our guide has checked. If the ice or the weather isn't safe, we'll move you to another date or refund you in full.
