July 18th Jim Lake Paddling Adventure
Ages 18+ • up to 3 Hours • Up to 13 people
What to Expect
Women’s Only Outdoor Outings
Sometimes you just need a break.
From the noise, the schedules, the constant doing.
These Women’s Only Outings are your chance to get outside, breathe some fresh Alaska air, and spend a few hours doing something just for you.
No pressure. No expectations. Just good people, a little adventure, and a whole lot of “this is exactly what I needed.”
What This Is
These are guided outdoor adventures for women (18+) who want to get outside and enjoy Alaska in a fun, low-stress way. You can come with friends or show up solo. Either way, you’ll fit right in.
For this trip, we will paddle the lake and creek system—with a small group of awesome women.
We will start by paddling across Jim Lake, then carry our kayak for a short distance over a portage into McRoberts Creek. Once in the creek, we will paddle for about an hour until we reach Mud Lake. After taking in the views at Mud Lake, we will turn around and return to Jim Lake.
This trip is open to beginners, but participants should be comfortable paddling across a lake and around obstacles in the slow-moving creek. If you are unsure, please reach out.
