What to Expect

Journey deep into Alaska’s backcountry on a guided full-day excursion to Knik Glacier that pairs an adrenaline-packed ATV ride with a serene paddle among floating icebergs. Ride 1.5 hours each way across braided rivers, gravel bars, and remote terrain while guides share geology and glacial history. At the glacier terminus, spend about two hours in a kayak or on a paddleboard, weaving through brilliant blue ice and taking in the immense scale of the ice face, with possible calving sightings and excellent photo opportunities.

Important Participant Requirements
⚠️ This adventure requires all participants to wear a specialized dry suit while on the water. Due to the sizing limitations of our safety equipment, guests must be able to properly fit within the available dry suits and meet minimum and maximum height and weight requirements.
For safety and comfort, participants who do not meet the required sizing specifications may not be able to participate in the paddling portion of the trip. If you have questions about sizing requirements, please contact us prior to booking so we can help determine whether this adventure is a good fit for you.

This adventure includes services provided by third-party partners, such as air charter operators, ATV companies, transportation providers, and other specialty activity vendors. These partners require advance reservations and have limited availability.

Cancellations or changes must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled trip departure.

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before departure will receive a full refund, less any non-refundable fees charged by third-party providers.
n• Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure are non-refundable.
n• No-shows and unused portions of a trip are non-refundable.
n• If a third-party provider has stricter cancellation terms, those terms may apply and will be communicated at the time of booking.

• If a trip is canceled by Adventures by True North AK or one of our partners due to weather, safety concerns, or operational issues, guests will be offered a reschedule or refund, subject to third-party provider policies.

By booking a trip that includes third-party services, guests acknowledge and agree to these cancellation terms.
