Take an hour-long tour of the historic Sloss Furnaces site. Participants will learn how iron was made from 1882-1970, how the iron industry impacted Birmingham, and the stories of the men who worked the furnaces.
What to bring
Please note that the tour is primarily outside, so please dress for the weather. We also suggest comfortable walking shoes.
Weather
This tour cannot take place in inclement weather. Sloss reserves the right to close the site and cancel tours according to our weather policy. If this occurs, participants will be given a full refund.
