Primitive Camping

Our primitive camping is a great way to experience our park's beautiful outdoors. Our regular Primitive Camping section is located near our Mathis Pavilion and has an entrance that you can drive up to and place your camping gear at. This spot offers a more secluded option, and is about a 150-yard walk from our RV camping area which has showers and a covered Pavilion.

Please arrive before 4:30pm in order to check into your campsite. Check-out is at 11am.

Hours of Operation

Majestic Caverns and its attractions are open Monday and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. We will be closed Monday through Friday in January and February.
